AfriCN and CDC Partner for Sustainable Biochar Development
In February 2023, AfriCN and the Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch a groundbreaking biochar project. This collaboration aims to promote sustainable agriculture, improve soil health, and contribute to carbon sequestration efforts in Cameroon.
Biochar, a carbon-rich product derived from organic waste, has gained global recognition for its potential to enhance soil fertility while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Through this partnership, AfriCN and CDC seek to develop innovative solutions that align with environmental sustainability and economic growth.
This initiative marks a significant step toward a greener future, reinforcing the commitment of both organizations to sustainable development in Cameroon and beyond.
